Conveniently located near downtown Cincinnati, our facility combines modern woodworking technology with old-world craftsmanship. Just minutes from RT 562, I-75, and I-71, our shop is equipped with CNC machinery and AutoCAD-based drafting alongside traditional woodworking tools. This balance of innovation and tradition allows us to handle everything from one-of-a-kind custom builds to large-scale production runs. Backed by a dedicated team—many with decades of experience—we’re able to deliver precision, versatility, and lasting quality in every project.

Our Story
A Humble Beginning
William Frank, born in Germany, apprenticed as a cabinetmaker at a young age before immigrating to America. Settling in Cincinnati near family, he founded Ohio Woodworking in 1930 on the site of an old lumberyard—where our offices still stand today. William built his reputation crafting bank furnishings, store fixtures, and custom residential work, forging relationships that still carry on through generations.
The Next Generation
When William passed in 1970, his son Tom stepped in to lead Ohio Woodworking. With the steady hand of Paul, the company’s longtime foreman, and the addition of Tom’s brother Jim in 1972, the second generation of cabinetmakers carried the business forward. Growth and demand led to an expanded facility and a team of craftsmen—many of whom have been with us for decades.
Carrying the Legacy Forward
In 2005, after celebrating 75 years in business, Tom retired and the third generation stepped in. Today, Tom’s son Tom Jr. and son-in-law Richard bring over 27 years of cabinetmaking expertise, continuing the family tradition while embracing modern techniques and materials.
